This will enhance current drivecapability and reduce noise. A fast switching low on-resistance MOSFET from Vishay is connect in seriesas second stage voltage follower.
Balanced: 2x 6H16b-B, one per channel.The two triode tubes inside the 6H16b-B cathodefollower are responsible for the current amplificationand driving of the positive and negative phase of thesame channel respectively

Solid-state Timbre: utilitarian Op-Amp
High-performance dual-channel, low-noise,audio-grade operational amplifiers fromTexas Instruments are used in the solidstate timbre circuit. The single-endedcircuit requires one Op-Amp only while thebalanced circuit involved two pieces.

The NJW1195AV volume controller in iDAP.8 adjusts volume via a 4-channel low noiselow distortion resistance ladder circuit thatoffers good inter-channel consistency andhighly accurate audio experience.
While controlled electronically, the volumeis adjusted purely in the analog domain.
